Medication Induced Sitcom Dreams
May. 2nd, 2019 03:37 pmFirst thing’s first. I slept till about 12:30pm today. I wasn’t feeling well once I woke up, and I am still not feeling well. I took some Mucinex. My ankle and thumb were being extra annoying and painful last night. So I didn’t sleept well at all.
Second thing. When I did sleep, I had some pretty crazy dreams. Some of them taking place in the world of Supernatural where I had to make my way through a level (ala video game) and save them from Hell. Dean, Castiel, and Sam, I presume. If anyone else was there, I really don’t remember. But the most odd thing about it is that I was spending my time in a hospital gown, and in a wheelchair, not on foot. So weird.
The other part of the dream, it was like I was living on the set of several different…sitcoms? And it ended with some of us in a recording studio trying to do something with an audio cassette. Sean Giambrone (Adam Goldberg,The Goldbergs), Marsai Martin (Diane Johnson,Black-ish) Brett Dier ( C.B,Schooled.) and I were consistently interrupted in the studio, and eventually the cassette broke, and I had to explain to them how to fix it. But in the meantime, we used a magically appearing CD/CD player to get the project done. I Should also mention that Marsai Martin was only in the dream briefly. She was later replaced with Kenny Ridwan( Dave Kim on The Goldbergs), I think Troy Gentile, who plays Barry on The Goldbergs was there, too, but I am not sure if I was just seeing things.
What I do remember is that me and Sean actually were co-starring in whatever this was. It was kind of fun, and we had a great time together. I think he, Brett, and I were also roommates. No idea what the hell was in my head last night, but I definitely was upset when I woke up that it was over and that Sean and Brett were not with me in real life. LOL. I may have a creepy old-lady crush on Sean and Brett… lol. Uh oh.
