Possibilities
May. 6th, 2020 09:31 amSo before I begin the real topic of this entry, I just want to apologize for the lack of entries recently. I should be writing every day of this miserable quarantine life. But there are some days where the entry would more than likely just read, "Ditto from up. yesterday....and the day before" So I now I will only write about that when I really need to. 've
Today should have been stupendous. But it wasn't. You see, my friend...my best friend...was supposed to come over and spend some time with me. Instead we ended up outside her ex-boyfriend's house with her calling the cops and trying to get her cat and some things that belonged to her daughters. That was so stressful, and anxiety-inducing. Mom wound up coming to get me. We did manage to get Salem out of the house though, so he is in a better environment. She is going to make it up to me, supposedly. We shall see. As much as I love her, she tends to disappear for months at a time.
When I got home, I had a massive headache and had to lie down for a couple of hours. I got woken up by Teal, the baby kitten we have had since September. She started licking me, and wanting attention, so I had to get up. Thankfully, the headache was mostly gone.

So I have been tinkering around with a BookTube idea. Chronicling my reading habits, and how they have changed over the years. I've been into Young Adult fantasy for a good portion 20 years now. And I don't see it changing any time soon. Yet, I find myself strangely in love with the writing of one Brandon Sanderson. His world building is compelling, realistic, and one of the few that I feel like I could step into the pages with. I want to talk about those sorts of things. Not just which character is hot to me. I want to talk about reading as a writer, something I am not sure most BookTubers do.
But before I can do that, I need to make sure my face is cleared up a bit more. Yes, I will probably use make up to help, but my break outs are usually pretty painful , so I can't use that stuff when they're fresh. (I usually break out most during my period....sorry for the TMI).
Also considering opening commissions for teddy bears. But I am going to do it a bit differently this time. This time I am going to make a bunch, post them on Social Media and do a first come first serve type deal. This way I don't have to worry about over committing myself, and I just sell what I have. I'm thinking 5 or 6 bears at a time. I do have an exception though she knows it's going to be just a bit. Maybe even doing scrunchies and headbands down the road. But I think the bears will sell more. We'll see.
