So I've played a lot of Pokemon the last few days. I am on the third island after a dear friend of mine gave me a level 43 pokemon to take care of Olivia's Lycanroc. Geezus that thing was a bitch. That Pokemon has really helped out of other jams, too, so thank you, Terri, for giving that little guy to me.

I did, I admit, start and get pretty far, on a Pokemon fanfic. I also got spoilers, so after the game is finished (I DO intend to finish this game), I will go back and edit/change some things. But at least for now it's quieting the muses. That's really all that matters. Loud muses make for very unproductive days for Zie. So at least I'm writing, and that's always good.

When I'm not Pokemon-ing or writing fic for that or other fandoms, I have been reading this wonderful series called Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige. I'm sure I've probably mentioned it here before. But just in case...EE! This series is everything you could want in a series based on the Oz books and the world of Oz. And it is turned so inside out you don't know who is good, and who is bad, which is why my Plurk user name is "Wicked is Good". It is a reference to those books. I love a story like that because it's unpredictable. Something awful happened in this book, but I'm not going to give out spoilers. I have people who read this journal who want to read the books.

I was stalled in finishing the second book and starting the third because on WEDNESDAY, I started with a migraine. It went away briefly Thursday but came back that night and lasted all the way to Friday late night. This was with medicine! I was *this* close to going to the ER for it. Instead, I called my doctor and made an appointment to see him about chronic migraines. This is just going on far too long. I hope he listens to me this time. >.>

I spent Sataurday in bed and slept all day. No, that's not an exxageration. I woke up long enough to get a drink and minimal food, but other than that, I slept. I didn't have the strength for anything. :(

So. I finally finished the last 100 pages of The Wicked Will Rise this afternoon and will be starting Yellow Brick War after I get some coloring in and read a bit more in Divergent. Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth (author of the Divergent series) comes in the mail tomorrow, and my goal was to be at least 100 or more pages into my Divergent re-read before then. (See above as to how that failed so fantastically).

Oh also, guys! I am still toying with the idea of opening a sandbox here on dreamwidth. Is anyone interested in playing with me? I have characters from...well, live action fandoms and book fandoms. But I could be convinced to play video game characters or some of my old anime characters, even. Maybe revive Declan (-eyes Lexi-) Anyway, I just thought I would mention it in case anyone was interested. ^__^

I swear..

I need to get better at this. I've gotten better at writing in my physical journal. I just don't write online as much as i used to. I'm sorry, guys. Forgive me? I hope so!

Anyway, the last week has been a bit of whirlwind and a mixed bag. Had a bit of a meltdown on Monday with Mom and Cal.. things are fine. It was just a little misunderstanding with Cal, and we sorted it out. It's all good.

So far I have really enjoyed Pokemon Moon. I wish I had more friends codes so I could trade with/battle my friends online. (-HINT HINT- to anyone who reads this!! Leave your code in a comment unless you know for a fact we've exchanged. I'll leave my code here, too. ) There are two characters I've connected with so far that I could easily write fics for. One is Lillie, and other is first island's Captain, Illima. Haha. Illima is pretty handsome and fun to look at. Lillie and I just seem to think of Pokemon as pets and friends rather than battle partners. Of course I battle, and of course I catch the wild ones, but I also just like caring for them, too!

The only critique I have for Pokemon Moon is that I miss the mini games that Y had.

Today I got some goodies in the mail and from the neighbor friend. From my friend Anthony (my first GAMING friend I met on Wii U), I got the squid Amiibo that has been eluding me for the last year. Well I got one of the two. I still have to order the orange one. I will probably do that after I buy plane tickets for California next month.) and he drew two drawings. He's a great artist!

I got my Disney Infinity figurines in the mail too, which means I am only missing ONE Avenger figurine, and I'm not even sure if he has a figurine for Infinity. I will need to do some research to find out. These were a birthday present from me to me for my birthday: Stitch, Baymax, Hiro, Rocket Raccoon, Captain America and the Hulk. These are all for Disney Infinity 2.0. If I can actually start getting some power disks next I can play more of the sets and get things for my toybox, and little things I'm building. We'll see what happens. (Cause now I want 3.0 to get Rey!)

My neighbor Lisa and her family bought me a calendar for coloring! Well, she says it was from the family, but I think she honestly just went out and bought it and wrote everyone's name (including their dog, Riley) in the card. But it doesn't matter. It is the thought that counted! It's a calendar of mandalas, guys. And if you know anything about my coloring "career" you know I do a lot of mandalas. My coloring club has seen me do them for the last few months that I've been around.

Anyway, today I also went and played a new game with Lisa called Bunco. It's a lot like Yahtzee, but a lot easier, and simpler to score. I really liked it, and I can't wait to play again. Unfortunately I won't be playing next week because I have the luncheon with the ladies during the time Bunco is going on.

Anyway, birthday plans aren't until the sixteenth for a completely different reason. I am going to spend the day with Mom, which is great. Daddy's idea, of all things. I think Monday scared him as much as it scared Mom. He's never seen me get that upset over something he's done. Again, not really going to get into the details. But I wanted to put it here for record that he has learned from it, and that's a good thing.

Mom and I are going to out and get a Grouper sandwich together and then do Bingo night. Something neither of us have done for a long time together. I'm excited about it, even if it is a wait. Hell, last year The Phantom of the Opera was a long wait, and I survived. I should be fine here, yeah? Yeah.

Before I get off here, I do have a little bit of a rant to get off my chest. I am tired of loaning out money to my parents. Here is the thing. Mom's pay has been a bit fucked up ever since we moved for varying reasons I really don't understand. And Daddy C is spending more than we're actually bringing into the house. So Mom has been borrowing money from me, leaving me LOW on funds every month. Currently, my bank account on the fifth of January, is sitting at 12.00. This is after I was okayed to spend the money on my figurines, and with some of my bills paid already. Plus the rent/phone bill I paid. I had to loan Mom another 70.00 dollars, plus I gave her the twenty I took out for myself.

Now. I normally don't mind loaning them money. They always pay me back. But it's been a while since I've been paid back, and I know they're putting some of it towards my Cali trip, so I can't be too mad, but I have other bills coming out this month, and I had one other thing I was going to do this month that I had budgeted in. That got fucked up, and I'm not happy about it at all.

The New Year holiday screwed up Mom's pay schedule so she doesn't get paid until Monday, and then I'll get paid back some of my money. Thankfully. I still can't buy Shadowhunters Season 2 until February, unless I use some of my birthday money when I get it on the 16th. We'll see what I decide to do. I might even decide to put it towards Super Mario Maker 3DS which I also wanted. Or something. We'll see.

Okay, that's done, and ranted about. I feel better now. LOL. It's amazing what makes my day these days. Anyway, going to head off here and think about bed without going to bed actually.... I should be reading more of Divergent. I want to be nearly done with that book before Carve the Mark (also by Veroncia Roth) is released on the 17th. I am currently doing a re-read of the Divergent trilogy, then I will begin my Cassandra Clare suggested re-read order for The Shadowhunter Chronicles (That is the Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, The Bane Chronicles, Tales from Shadowhunter Academy and Lady Midnight collectively). She has a specific order to read them in so I figured I would do it that way to give myself a different experience.

Of course in between my re-reads I am reading all new books, and this current book series, Doronthy Must Die, has captured my heart and imagination! I love it. I will write more about that later. Hope to see you guys soon...(aka tomorrow)!
