mad_tea_partyYesterday's "sale" was a bust. Not one customer. So Mom and Cal decided to cancel it for next weekend, and we're just going to taking stuff to Goodwill and/or throwing it out. The move is almost here, guys, and I'm getting really, really excited. and a little sentimental, too.
I got to see Summer for the first time in two years, and guess what? She remembered me! I got the biggest hug, and the biggest smile from her! She even got in the pool with me later in the day, and we had fun splashing each other with cups.
Stephanie and Shana spent the night, and i got to play Mario Kart 8 with Stephanie. Shana couldn't figure out the controls, but she had a lot of fun watching us. Then I showed them Splatoon, and Mario Maker, my three favorite games in one night! Whoot!
Today I spent time cleaning up from yesterday's purge of junk, and then I've just been doing some reading done. I am almost exactly where I need to be for finishing up this book NEED tomorrow. Eleanor and Park is next on my list to finish. I am dragging that one out the same way I dragged out Fangirl because I like it so much. Can't wait till I have my copy of Fangirl back in my hands because I want to read it again.
Friday I get to see Fred for the first time since January. That's right. January. He is determined to come see me. Since he's not going to Otakon. I hope I can still convince him to go down to the harbor and Pokemon hunt with me. He said there were a ton of Pokemon at Towson Mall, but I don't want to go to Towson because I am trying not to spend too much money. With the Harbor, I will only go to two places: Its Sugar, and probably somewhere to eat. Mostly, I just want go down there one more time before I move, who best to go with than my buddy, Fred? He's the first person I ever went to the Harbor with so why not? It would be a good way to spend our last afternoon together.
I hope Jonathan will eventually come see me before I leave, and I know I will see Lee, beacause he's supposed to be coming to help load the truck and stuff on the 23rd. By then my Wii U will be packed up though so it looks like i'm stuck trying to be the second and third stages of Splatoon single Player alone, unless Daniel or Chris comes to visit. I might can convince them to take pity on me!
But yes, I'm very excited about all these upcoming things. It will be awesome to be in Florida and not have to worry as much about my sinuses (she says as she's sniffling from an oncoming sinus infection). Now if I can just get through the trip down there and the stress that Cal is projecting on to everyone... (not blaming him. he probably doesn't even realize that he does it...) we'll all be golden. Mom is a great buffer for this, by the way.
Okay, loves. Gotta run. Be back tomorrow. (Going to try and update every day until the 15th when Mom shuts off cable and internet so we don't have to pay for another whole month when we won't be here).
