I'm feeling pretty numb still, so this entry isn't exactly a happy one overall. The main point is, I had to cancel my trip to California for the year. This means no YallWest. No talking to James Dashner about the final movie in The Maze Runner trilogy, no seeing Val and Lissa, and no Cupcake ATM. :(

The upside to this is that I might be able to see Kay and Lexi sooner than September, but I'm not sure yet. I'll need to talk to Kay-chan about that. But I am definitely going to Rochester this year, because I need to see Kay and Lexi. And I need to pet my adopted nurse kitty, Anubis. And Merlibutt. Because Merlin will demand pets if he sees Anubis getting any.

I am also considering, but not planning for sure, a trip to Maryland to see my brother and Alicia. It'll be weird to go back there knowing I won't see Patrick. But I know that if I can handle going back to Spencer where Mama Kat is no longer around, I can see my old neighborhood.

This whole week, aside from yesterday, has been a total bust, to be honest. One of my most active RPGs suffered a huge falling out, and while the game is still going, it really feels like stale effort without 3 of the people I RPed with the most. So I'm kinda waffling.

So yesterday, I went to the eye doctor, and I got my new prescription, so I should be able to read really well soon. Right now, I have to read in bursts, and that's really not how i like to read. When I settle into a book, I want to read for a long time. After last weekend's 24in48 read-a-thon, I am more determined than ever to read more.

After that, Dad let me go to GameStop, and I finally indulged myself and bought the Splatoon 2 colored Joy-Cons for my Nintendo Switch. And I got a charger to keep my spare ones on for when I wanna switch them out. I only have one more set I wanna get before I am done collecting Joy-Cons. Then it's on to getting my Splatoon 2 Amiibos to go with my Splatoon collection. I know I don't play that game as much, but it's still my heart. I love it.

Then I saw Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. I had said at some point, I think, that I wasn't gonna see the movie. But it turned out to be a lot better than I anticipated, and I even developed muses! Bonus! Cause you know, I need more people talking to me than I already have in my head. And they did have a nice tribute to Robin Williams' work on the previous movie. So that made me really happy. Also, Nick Jonas was in it. Good god has he grown up into a handsome young man.

The coincidence here is that yesterday before I left the house, I was listening to the Jonas Brothers. I felt like i rally needed them. and I'm listening to them again today while I write this. I will probably listen to some Hannah Montana next because I need as much positive music as I can get right now.

I am starting a new craft today! It's called Diamond Painting. It's basically like counted cross stitch except you're sticking diamonds on an adhesive surface and when it's done, it looks like a painting. My first one is a Cheshire Cat from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. I haven't decided what my next one will be, but I've gotta order it soon since it take a while to get here. Probably Mom's dolphins. I wanna make her something pretty for Mother's Day or birthday, depending on how long it takes me to get it done. (Because I have ot keep in mind I will have my Cheshire Cat one to do, too)

Well, I gotta get ready to go out now, so I'll end it here. I'll talk to you guys again
