Can I just thank ConcernedApe and ChuckleFish for bringing the game Stardew Valley to Nintendo Switch. This game has been a terrific way to kill time, and have meaning. I actually feel like I'm accomplishing something when I play this game. And I love the idea of having to think out what my priorities are going to be. I'm not doing well with farming so far this time around, but mining has become a thing I've really come to enjoy and rely on for the most part.

I'll probably go and get some seeds before the end of summer so I can be a better farmer next Summer. And fall will be better farming season for me as far as I'm concerned.

Farming aside, there is also the monster element in the mines, and quests, and missions. I really enjoy those aspects because those are my favorite part of role playing games. I also like it because the mechanics are pretty easy on my wrist and hands. That could be due to the Switch it self, but given that I know some games have multiple buttons you have to push for certain actions in games, but with Sardew Valley, I only have to worry about the Y, X, trigger buttons and the joy stick. And these all need to pressed separately, and not all at the same time. Amazing. And easy for me.

Finally, I love Stardew Valley because it doesn't require WiFi to play. A lot of the games I play, especially the favorite modes in ARMS and Splatoon 2 require WiFi, and so I can't easily play them in the car or on the go. I might start using my WiFi hotspot on my phone if I'm gonna be on the road longer (like a road trip or something) than expected. But other than that, I get to play in Stardew Valley and work on my farm.
