mad_tea_partyWhen the day is good, it is good. Here is what's happened today so far.
I woke up in a great mood, though I still took a shower, and the mood increased! I got some dishes done by throwing them in the dishwasher and then dusted the furniture.
When I was done with that, I got on the computer to talk to my friends. Guess what? The list for Yallwest, the Young Adult literary festival that I'm going to in California was up! Three of the many authors I love are going to be there. Cassandra Clare, Veronica Roth, and Danielle Paige! The problem is that Cassie Clare and Veronica Roth are probably going to wristbanded and that's still not guaranteed that I will meet either of them.
Danielle Paige I have more of a chance of meeting. She is not nearly as popular as the previous two. Since I had a giftcard worth 20.00 I ordered all three of her books so that she can sign them for me. And even if she doesn't get to, at least I'll have them, and I can re-read them. I really liked her whole process with this series, and I wish I could re-write fairy tales like that. I had the Goose Girl rewrite that I gave up on, but I wish I hadn't. I could try and Puss n Boots kinda re-write, but I don't think I'd be that great with that.
Anyway Daddy took me shopping for groceries, and I have to pay him about 60.00 on Wednesday. But I got some things that are going to be good for me to eat instead of Ramen, and pasta all the time. Though this time I really like veggie pasta now so I bought that.
Now I'm just relaxing. Today was definitely a good day, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
